The Name

Meet Olive & May

Olive & May is more than a name. It's a nod to the women who helped shape Bend's story. Inspired by Olive McKay and May Arnold, it honors legacy, community, and the people who believed in this special place we call home.

From preserving the park we all know and love to helping shape downtown Bend, their impact is still felt today.

The Menu

Plated & poured

A scratch kitchen at the heart of it, with Northern Mediterranean cooking that changes with the season, from a long, easy dinner to a slow weekend brunch.

To go with it: craft cocktails and a large, carefully curated wine list that runs from bright and mineral to dark and brooding, with a rotating cast by the glass.

The Owners

Behind the table

Olive & May is the work of three partners, Caprice Neely, Fergal Donoher, and Peter Kost, united by one obsession: bringing genuinely high-quality experiences to Bend.

Peter, owner of the award-winning Ken's Artisan Pizza, brought Caprice and Fergal on as partners after a decade of friendship to open it in Bend. Olive & May is their next chapter together, a shared instinct you can taste in the cocktail, feel in the kitchen, and hear in a room that hums until close.
